This is the Mercedes AVTR. It is a concept car, which means it is just an idea. The Mercedes AVTR has no steering wheel, but that does not make it a self driving car. Instead, you drive using the stick shift. Mercedes-Benz teamed up with director James Cameron and his Avatar team to brainstorm how the Mercedes AVTR can become one with the environment without being a plant. The side is made out of tree roots, and you may think that that means it is not nature friendly. Actually, if left uncontrolled, the roots they use would spread around the whole forest preventing other trees from growing. The battery is wildly efficient. The revolutionary battery technology is based on graphene-based organic cell chemistry and thus completely eliminates rare, toxic and expensive earths such as metals. Last but not least, the AVTR can go sideways like a crab.
