SkyDrive has launched its first human controlled flying car prototype. SkyDrive plans to make this car a reality by 2023. The Japanese startup SkyDrive is being backed up by Toyota who gave SkyDrive about 37 million dollars of funding. SkyDrive conducted a public test flight of its new SD-03 on August 25, 2020. If you watch this video, you will see that the car drove smoothly and effortlessly around the Toyota test field.
The single-seat aircraft, which has been many years in the making, was lifted to six feet above the ground and circled the test area for roughly four minutes. This took us a step further into helping us with the invention of the flying car.
